NSS(Unit: 87, 88 & 89) Activities from August 2022 onwards:
Pledge “Drive against Drug” was taken on 11/08/2022 at 11.00am.
Rally “To create awareness among public about 75th Independence Day celebration” was conducted on 11/08/2022 at 2.30pm.
Quiz “To create awareness among students about Freedom fighters” was conducted by Dr. P. Maria Pushpam on 13/08/2022.
75th Independence Day was celebrated in the college premises on 15/08/2022 along with NCC unit.
A camp was organised “To link voter’s id with Aadhaar” on 29/08/2022.
Deworming tablets was distributed to students on deworming day (09/09/2022), which was received from Primary Health Centre, Krishnancoil.
Orientation program was conducted for NSS students was conducted on 16/09/2022 at 1.30pm. Special address was given by Our Principal Dr. S. Durairaj. The gathering was felicitated by Dr. B. Suseela, HoD/ Tamil and Dr. S. Arul Stephen, HoD/ Commerce.
A medical camp was conducted on 11/10/2022 in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital and Bharathi Dental Hospital.
One day camp was conducted at SanghuThurai beach was conducted for collection of plastic wastes on 05/11/2022. 30 NSS volunteers participated and collected 110kg of plastic wastes.
